I grew up in southern Maine and fell in love with cross-country skiing in middle school. I chose to attend Williams College and competed for their Men's Division 1 ski team. After graduating I joined the Craftsbury Green Racing Project in Craftsbury, Vermont, a professional team that emphasizes environmental stewardship, community outreach, and international performance. I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to travel the world and represent the United States at the highest levels of international competition.

    Parallel to my journey through sport has been a path of engineering and design. While on flights, in hotel rooms, and any other moments I can find between training, racing, and traveling I have designed and launched products on my own as well as with teams of talented people. For me design & creation are just reflexes: drives and desires so innate that they feel inseparable from my worldview.
